Felicia Bryant

Assistant Chief of Community Risk Reduction & Fire Marshal

Chief Bryant joined the OCFA in June 2025 after more than 20 years with the Oakland Fire Department, where she ascended the ranks from Firefighter, Engineer, and Public Information Officer to Lieutenant, Assistant Fire Marshal, and Fire Marshal.

Chief Bryant is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Science, sits on the Executive Board for International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA), and has also served as a committee member for Building Construction Related to Fire Service, 5th Edition. She has completed many leadership courses, including the Executive Development Institute, National Fire Protection Association Responder Forum, and she is currently enrolled in the National Fire Academy Fire Executive Officer Program.
