Fire Prevention Guidelines

(Note: These guidelines are PDF files which require the Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can download the Reader for free from the Adobe Website.)
OCFA has developed these guidelines to assist our customers in understanding specific fire and life safety regulations. Most of these Guidelines have undergone some changes due to the adoption of the 2010 California Fire Code. Guidelines with significant changes have been flagged ("See New Requirements"). If you have suggestions or comments please feel free to contact Vahid Toossi.
