Public Record Request Fees


Public Records Request Fees below are for pick-up only; additional fees may apply for postage/shipping delivery or fax transmittal. Please contact the Clerk of the Authority’s office at (714) 573-6040, if you have any questions.

  • Incident Reports: ($2.50 per address/incident)
    OCFA fire and paramedic emergency response incident reports. Please call the Clerk of the Authority’s office at (714) 573-6040 for an incident number to reference on your request.

  • Fire Investigation Reports: ($.15 per page, plus postage)
    Only available if an Investigator responds to or opens a case on an incident
    • Investigation Photos ($4.00 per CD-ROM)
    • Photo Duplication: (actual cost by off-site vendor)
      Photos are only taken at fire investigations

  • Community Right To Know (CRTK) Reports: ($2.50 per address; maps/plans: actual cost by off-site vendor)
  • Fair Political Practice Commission (FPPC) Economic Interest Disclosure Statements: ($.10 per page; $5.00 Research fee for document five or more years old)
    Requests for conflict of interest forms (FPPC Form 700)

  • Subpoenas
    • Records: ($15.00 per address/incident)
      Certified records for one emergency response incident
    • Witness Fee: ($150 fee for each OCFA employee court appearance or deposition)
      A subpoena must be served to the Orange County Fire Authority for any employee statements.

  • Audio Transmission Duplication: ($4.00 per CD-ROM)
    911 audio transmissions or OCFA Budget and Finance Committee Meetings

  • Video Transmission Duplication: ($4.00 per DVD)
    OCFA Board of Directors Meetings or OCFA Executive Committee Meetings

  • Data on CD-ROM: ( $4.00 per CD-ROM)
    Any information provided on a CD-ROM

  • Custom Reports: ($40.00 per hour, 1 hour minimum)
    Information Technology Section specialized reports

  • Certification: ($2.00 per document)
    Documents certified by the Clerk of the Authority

  • Bound Reports and Publications: (actual cost by off-site vendor)
    OCFA Adopted Budget, Comprehensive Financial Annual Report (CAFR), etc.

  • Fax Transmittal: (Fee of $0.15 cents per faxed page)
    Paid in advance by requestor
